Privacy Policy
We believe in simple, honest privacy. Sumi is a Sudoku game — it does not need to know who you are, and it does not try to find out.
壱 Information we do not collect
You do not need an account to play Sumi. We do not collect or store:
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- Any data that links your identity to your gameplay
- Payment or financial information (purchases are processed entirely by Google Play or the App Store)
弐 Data stored on your device
Sumi stores game progress, settings, and usage history locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time from within the app or via your device's app settings.
参 Advertising
Sumi displays ads via Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may access your device's Advertising ID. On iOS, you will be asked for permission before any advertising identifier is accessed, via the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
You can opt out of personalised ads at any time:
- iOS — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Android — Google Settings → Ads → Delete advertising ID
Ad delivery is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
肆 Analytics & crash reporting
To improve stability and gameplay, we collect limited, non-identifiable technical data via Firebase (Google):
- Usage analytics — which features are used and how, aggregated and never linked to you personally
- Crash reports — device model and OS version when the app crashes, so we can fix bugs
- Performance data — app speed and reliability metrics
No personally identifiable information is included in any of these reports. Analytics data is processed by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
伍 In-app purchases
Sumi offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock the full game. All payment processing is handled by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). We never see or store your payment details.

We do not sell your data to third parties, use data brokers, or share your data beyond what is described above.
漆 Your rights
- Clear local data — game progress and settings can be cleared from within the app at any time
- Advertising opt-out — disable personalised ads via iOS or Android settings (see Section 参)
- Analytics opt-out — on iOS via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android via Google Settings → Ads
Since we do not collect personal identifiers, there is no personal profile to access, export, or delete.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
